Zanzibar Legal Aid and Human Rights Organization (ZALHO) is a non-governmental, independent, non-partisan, and not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting access to justice and advancing human rights in Zanzibar.
It was established to serve marginalized and vulnerable groups by offering free legal aid services and advocating for the respect and observance of human rights.

Our Mission
To advocate for the respect of basic legal rights of women, youth, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities through the provision of free legal aid services, legal awareness, and the promotion and protection of human rights, the rule of law, and democracy.
